The Emerald city is the 2nd healthiest city in America and my home. Seattle is a mecca for all those seeking adventure, healthy food and of course music.
Nestled in the northwest corner of the United States, we have four seasons with relatively mild temperatures all year round. Not too hot, not too cold, just right! Our summers have been getting longer and hotter, and the rain has subsidded over the years. Don’t let myths of grey gloom and the imfamous “Seattle freeze” stand in your way of visiting. We just tell people that to keep it from getting over crowded 😉
Not even an hour from the city you can find jaw dropping hikes, boating, fishing, kayaking and scubadiving. You’ll also find that Seattle is a great place for those of you with dietary restrictions or those just looking for locally sourced and healthy food. People say the PNW is granola. I’ll take it as a compliment, that just means we’re forward thinking, environmentally conscious and put our health and happiness first.
What I love about Seattle is that there is plenty to do outside without spending a bunch of money. I also love that it’s always green and blue – I’ll take a little rain in exchange for that anyday!
I’m constantly exploring new places and things to do so I will be udpating this particular page often. If you end up trying any of the recommendations let me know on IG tag me @cleanleaninna!
I hope you have a wonderful time!
